Whoops.
I've had a lot to post about the past few days, but I haven't had time!! I went to karaoke, did purikura, had kyuubi taika today, went on a walk to many awesome places yesterday, and have a few funny stories to share...so I will post all of that when I get a bit of time! Sorry!

What!! You can't post a blog hinting at som many interesting things and then leave us hanging! JK, lol. Have fun kiddo.
For 6 weeks in the summer of 2009, I was in Japan studying abroad on full scholarship (Mazda/Nationwide Community) through the organization Youth For Understanding (YFU). This is the blog I kept and updated frequently during my stay, from pre-departure preparations to the day I returned to America. Before I embarked on my exchange, I thoroughly read other exchange students blogs, and found them both extremely helpful and entertaining. I hope that my blog can also serve this purpose for people considering foreign exchange, or those just interested in Japan. I hope you enjoy my blog, going to Japan was an experience that has truly defined me as a person, and I'm glad that I got to share my experiences there with everyone through this!

Katie,
I am happy for you and jealous at the same time.
Happy that you are seeing and doing so many interesting and fun things.
Jealous that I'm not there to enjoy them with you.
Love Ya,
Grandpa
